Q: What do I need to do to evaluate the Zend Studio?

To evaluate Zend Studio first download the evaluation package. After installation Zend Studio will work out of the box and will not request a license during the evaluation period. The software will automatically expire after 30 days. You will be sent an email reminder before your evaluation period expires notifying you about the impending expiration.

Zend Studio has an installation wizard that helps you through the installation process.

Q: What is a Zend Platform Developers License and how do I request it?

Zend Studio now comes with a free Zend Platform Developers License which permits the use of Zend Platform for application development. The Developer License does not limit the number of servers Zend Platform is installed on but it is server locked and limited to 1 year from the date acquired. Additional years can be requested after the initial term expires.
To use Zend Platform in your development environment, you must download and install the Zend Platform trial and request a Developer License from within the product GUI using the ‘Manage License’ option.

Q: How do I buy Zend Studio?

To buy Zend Studio simply visit our Store and go through the purchase process. Once the payment has been received you will find the license key in your Pickup Depot by clicking the 'License' button next to the product name. Enter this number into your product to activate it. If you evaluated a previous version of Zend Studio than is currently for sale (i.e. you evaluated Zend Studio 4 and Zend Studio 5 is currently available for sale) you will have to redownload and reinstall the newer version of the Zend Studio for the license key to work. You can download the latest version from your Pickup Depot by clicking the 'Download' button next to the product name.
