PHP 5.5 and 5.6 Executables (Windows Only)
The PHP 5.5 and 5.6 built-in executables require the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 to be installed in the operating system:
- If you are running Zend Studio 12.5 and later, these executables are automatically installed.
- If you are running an earlier version of Zend Studio, install it manually.
PHP 7 Executables (Windows Only)
The PHP 7 built-in executables require the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 to be installed in the operating system:
- If you are running Zend Studio 13 and later, these executables are automatically installed.
- If you are running an earlier version of Zend Studio, install it manually.
Apigility Integration Requirements
For the Zend Studio Apigility Editor to render correctly, you must be using Internet Explorer 10 and newer.
Android Development
To create native Android applications using Zend Studio, you need:
- The Android SDK Tools.
- The Java Development Kit added to system path. We recommend Oracle JDK 1.7 or higher.
- JAVA_HOME environment variable set (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_45).
- %JAVA_HOME%\bin added to system path (http://www.java.com/en/download/help/path.xml).
